Gear
Our gear choices are a combination of continuous experimentation and consistent efficiency improvements. However gear is only a small part of the puzzle. After all, the best gear in the world in the hands of someone who doesn’t know how to properly utilize it is about as useful as playing the lottery... as your day job.
So more important than the gear is the artistry that goes into every image. This artistry is one of our key focuses at Evermore Amore, we pursue the improvement of it at every opportunity. One of our favorite quotes is “Give me two hours to chop down a tree, and I'll spend the first hour and a half sharpening the axe”. We sharpen our skills constantly, striving to deliver our clients the best possible images at the highest quality.
So is gear important? Yes, but not as important as the thousands of hours spent mastering the artistry behind the lens.
Our Cameras
We’ve used many different camera manufacturers over the years, but the one we’ve always come back to is Fujifilm. The combination between their breathtaking image quality and their stunning colour science have truly captivated us. Combine this with their compact size and gorgeous retro aesthetics, and you’ve got an incredible package.
Our lenses
Like our cameras we use Fujifilm lenses. Not only do they deliver razor sharp images with spectacular contrast and colour, they also have fast near silent autofocus making sure they don’t disrupt special moments.
Our lighting
We use a combination of many different lighting tools such as; reflectors, flashes, constant light and natural light. For our reflectors and flashes we use Godox. The flashes feature wireless triggering with excellent range and Lithium-ion batteries for super fast recycle times helping us to capture critical moments.
Other gear
Other than those main categories we use a wide variety of gear manufacturers here are a few of them; Manfrotto (light stands and tripods), Godox (light stands), Sandisk (SD cards), Apple (editing workstations), Seagate (storage), WD (storage) and Adobe (software).
